What customers need to know
Open a question to read the answer and continue to deeper guidance where appropriate.
01Which shipping method is best for my cargo?+
The best practical method depends on the required delivery date, final packed weight and dimensions, cargo type, value, destination and delivery scope. Air or express commonly suits urgent compact cargo; FCL and LCL commonly suit larger or less urgent shipments.
Compare air and sea freight →02When should I choose air freight instead of sea freight?+
Choose air when the business cost of delay justifies the higher transport cost and the cargo is acceptable to the airline. Compare chargeable weight, route, capacity, security handling and final delivery—not flight time alone.
Explore Air Freight →03What is the difference between FCL and LCL?+
FCL uses a dedicated container for the shipment. LCL combines cargo from several shippers and adds consolidation and deconsolidation handling. The useful comparison includes volume, packing, timing and destination charges.
Read the FCL vs LCL guide →04Can urgent cargo and regular stock use different methods?+
Yes. A split shipment may move a critical quantity by air or express while the remaining volume travels by sea. Both parts should use the same controlled packing list and delivery plan.
05Can QIFLY arrange rail or multimodal shipping?+
Rail or multimodal options may be considered on suitable routes after the origin, destination, cargo, schedule and current service availability are reviewed. They are not automatically available for every country or product.
06Does the fastest quoted transit time include pickup and delivery?+
Not necessarily. Transit descriptions may refer only to airport, port or carrier movement. Confirm the stated start and end points, plus pickup, consolidation, customs and final delivery time.
These answers are general information, not a live quotation or legal, customs, tax, insurance or dangerous-goods advice. Current carrier and destination requirements must be confirmed for the actual shipment.
