What customers need to know

Open a question to read the answer and continue to deeper guidance where appropriate.

01Which documents are normally required for international freight?

A commercial invoice, packing list and transport document are common starting points. Product, origin, battery, dangerous-goods, license or destination requirements may add further records.

02Who is responsible for the HS code?

Classification responsibility follows the commercial and customs arrangement. QIFLY may coordinate information, but the importer, exporter and qualified customs professionals should confirm the code where required.

03Can QIFLY guarantee customs clearance?

No. Customs authorities control clearance decisions. QIFLY can coordinate the agreed document and broker process using accurate cargo information, but cannot guarantee release or inspection outcomes.

04What happens if customs inspects the shipment?

The broker or responsible party coordinates the authority's request. Inspection time, examination fees, storage and related charges are handled under the quotation and local process, and are commonly conditional costs.

05Can the invoice value be reduced to lower duties?

No. Shipment values and descriptions must be truthful and supported by the transaction. QIFLY does not assist with false declarations or customs evasion.

06Are product certificates always required?

No single certificate applies to every product. Requirements depend on the commodity, materials, destination, importer and relevant agencies. Verify them before the cargo moves.

Important scope

These answers are general information, not a live quotation or legal, customs, tax, insurance or dangerous-goods advice. Current carrier and destination requirements must be confirmed for the actual shipment.
